Her previous experience includes:
- Co-Founder, strategic, research and communication development of sustainability projects in rural and urban communities in China @Shanghai Shuyi Eco-community + Daorong Sustainability Center: eco-farming and rural issues, a civil society network on sustainability among East Asian countries and regions.
- Information and Communication advisor @UN Bonn and UN Mission Liberia
- Visual anthropologist researching and filming diverse communities including ethnic minorities and those with physical disabilities for a university in Yunnan province.
Her educational background is in Cultural Studies (MSc, UK), Visual Anthropology (Dip, China), English Language and Literature (BA, China). She is a certified intercultural trainer and a certified non-violent communications trainer candidate, and currently being trained with Emerson College, UK as Anthroposopy trainer.
She is well versed in participatory Methods, such as Open Space, Design Thinking, Story Telling, and also trained intensively in Playback Theatre.
She is a fellow of International Leadership for the Environment and Development (LEAD) and an alumna of the Zukunfsbruecke German-Chinese Young Professional Leadership Campus.
