On March 20th a roundtable with 30+ German CEOs and industry leaders hosted by the Bertelsmann Stiftung and the German Chamber of Commerce China, Shanghai took place. The goal: Kicking-off an initiative for catalyzing social engagement of German companies in China. The background: Under the title “China – More than A Market” a mapping study was conducted to investigate how German companies, relate and cooperate with society in China. The study also prompted a critical mass of companies to voice the need for more joint action to increase impact and help establish German companies more strongly in China.

CONSTELLATIONS founders Katja Hellkoetter and Magali Menant were not only been the co-authors of the study, but also co-designed the initiative framework concept as well as the roundtable on March 20th.
