Previously she was involved in industries of education, consultancy, logistics and chemical. She worked with business organizations such as BASF, DHL and Wall Street English, with more than 10 years in senior leadership positions. Her roles range from customer service, product development and marketing, Human Resources learning and development, organization development etc.
Deborah established the learning and talent management system in China to support its rapid business development when working with DHL. The employee engagement system she set up contributed significantly to employee retention in China. Deborah was also a group-recognized trainer and consultant in the field of change management and Mentor to high potential talents.
When working with BASF, she led her team to provide learning and performance solutions, leadership development, change management support to more than 70 Greater China business units, 20 manufacturing sites, various functional units, Asia Pacific R&D community, Engineering and Investment center. The company won Best Training Award by 51Job for 4 consecutive years during her term of office. She herself, as a seasoned facilitator, designed and facilitated important workshops that contributed to successful implementation of strategic change initiatives.
