RATIONALE
We believe that the paradigm shift – or system change – necessary to sustain a livable planet for future generations can only be achieved through a collective intelligence enabled by collaboration.
Based on our experience working on sustainability issues with organizations and multi-stakeholder initiatives over the last decade:
- Sustainability requires new ways of thinking and doing: a systems approach, for more integrated and robust solutions.
- Collaboration – across silos, sectors, disciplines, cultures, etc. – is thus fundamental to bring about that change.
- Yet collaboration demands a shift in mindset, a more empathetic and trustful culture as well as new practices, methods and tools.
- That does not come about naturally, so facilitation and change management is crucial to engage stakeholders and embark on a process that catalyses change.
