Luisa Keinprecht is a Master’s graduate from Aalborg University in Copenhagen, where she completed the Master’s program Sustainable Design in 2016.
With a strong emphasis on interdisciplinarity, the program combined methods from social science and technology studies with technical studies and design practices. Through diverse courses and hands-on group projects Luisa built up the ability to understand, stage and carry out innovative processes leading to design and the implementation of sustainable products, services and socio-technical system solutions. She moreover gained experience in actor engagement and application of co-creation tools.
Continuously questioning established practices, holistic thinking and the curiosity to try out new things is what she considers essential for the development of more healthy, sustainable and liveable environments.
In 2015, Luisa completed an internship as executive assistant at the social enterprise GoodtoChina, based in Shanghai. There, she supported in volunteer management and the implementation of sustainable engagement programs – mainly workshops for children on the topic of healthy food and circular economy on rooftop farms.
Exploring the question of how citizens’ engagement can shape cities – in her Master’s Thesis, Luisa examined a participatory building process in Germany with regard to actors’ interactions and potential as role model for similar projects.
After the completion of her Master’s degree, Luisa deepened her growing interest in sustainable food production and agriculture through voluntary engagement in an urban garden and the education project “The Global Field” founded by the Future Foundation for Agriculture. Further, she completed a Permaculture Design Course in Portugal.
Since September 2018 she is a core member of CONSTELLATIONS International and project-assistant for STADTMACHER China-Deutschland – program initiated by the Robert Bosch Foundation and realised by CONSTELLATIONS International.
