Wu Yimeng

Wu Yimeng is a designer, artist and cultural mediator. Having grown up in Germany & China, she feels most comfortable living between the cultures. Since her studies in Berlin (University of Arts) and in Paris (École nationale supérieure des arts décoratifs), she has gained more than 8 years of experience in intercultural design projects as a designer and free artistic director for renowned german agencies such as MetaDesign and Tamschick Media + Space.

She founded her own Studio “Studio Wu” in 2009 with a focus on intercultural design between China & Europe. In collaboration with partners and experts from different creative fields, Studio Wu is specialised in the art of book design, illustration & multilingual typography as well as intercultural design consulting.
